The Quarryville and Wakefield Lions Clubs will sponsor the 11th annual Veterans' Appreciation Banquet on Friday, Nov. 5, at 6:30 p.m. at Chestnut Level Presbyterian Church's Family Life Center, 1068 Chestnut Level Road, Quarryville. The speaker will be local newspaper columnist Jack Brubaker, who will speak on what makes Lancaster County and its residents special.
