Lititz Day of Prayer Service posted

Warwick Association of Church Women invites members of the public to attend its annual Lititz Day of Prayer Service, which the organization has sponsored for more than 25 years. This year's event will be held on Friday, March 1, at St. Paul Evangelical Church, 200 W. Orange St., Lititz, at 6:30 p.m.

Prelude music will be provided by the Lititz Moravian Trombone Choir and the St. James Catholic Church Folk Ensemble, and several local pastors will be involved in the service. Refreshments will be served.

The guest speaker will be William J. Zee, who serves as chair of Appel, Yost & Zee's Education Law Group. Zee has represented public and private schools, intermediate units, higher education institutions, and community benefit organizations throughout Pennsylvania and New Jersey for the past 18 years. He leads the Education Law Group's professional development and training initiatives, with a special focus on student services, trauma-informed and restorative practices, student mental health efforts, and public school policy.

A freewill offering will be received in support of Warwick Released Time program, which serves third- and fourth-grade children in the Warwick School District. This is a Christ-centered ministry permitted by Pennsylvania's Public School Code.
