Lititz Kiwanis Pretzel Fest posted

The Lititz Kiwanis Pretzel Fest will take place on Saturday, April 26, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at more than 25 locations in downtown Lititz. Usually slated for May, the event is being held earlier this year.

The Pretzel Fest will include sweet and savory options like zesty lemon crunch, salted caramel pretzel brownies, pretzel-encrusted mozzarella bites, pork rib and yucca soup topped with pretzel crumbles, chocolate peanut butter pretzel bombs, and gluten-free magic pretzel bars.

In addition to the pretzel-containing treats, five musical acts, including performers from Rob's Rock School, will perform around town, and members of the Warwick Middle School Robotics Team, the Warwick Robotic Pretzels, will demonstrate their robot. The Lititz Historical Foundation's Mary Oehme Gardens will offer a place to take a break; listen to the Ragtime Willi Band's Jack Roberts; get a drink donated by Kreider Farms; and take a photo with props, including a giant inflatable pretzel.

Tickets, sponsored by Sturgis Pretzel and the Lititz Kiwanis Club, may be purchased at http://www.lititzpretzelfest.com. All proceeds from Pretzel Fest will benefit the Kiwanis Free Kids Day in the Park on Saturday, May 17, in Lititz Springs Park.

The Kiwanis Club of Lititz Area is part of Kiwanis International, a worldwide organization that is devoted to serving the children of the world, one child and one community at a time.
