Local business launches initiative

Local design studio Lime Creative has announced an initiative called LimeAid to provide no-cost creative services to small, start-up and under-resourced nonprofit organizations and ministries.

Conceived by Lime Creative owner and Lancaster native Laura Kline, LimeAid's focus will be on supporting nonprofit partners for specific projects they designate and define during the application and review process. Kline has nearly two decades of experience working with nonprofits and ministries as a graphic designer, Web designer and developer and marketing and communications consultant.

LimeAid provides a cost estimate for each partner ministry's project, and then cuts it by 50%, which is Lime Creative's personal donation to the cause. The remaining 50% of the estimated costs are covered through the generosity of donors, who support individual projects on a case-by-case basis or agree to support LimeAid monthly. The number of ministry partners and projects to be taken on depends on the amount of support raised.

Since 2007, Lime Creative has helped nonprofits and small businesses grow by developing brands that speak clearly, create connections and inspire action. For more information about the LimeAid project or to support a current project, visit http://www.LimeAid.org.
