Local college student earns honors

Angela Stevens-Kaylor of Mount Joy, a student at Strayer University, Herndon, Va., received an invitation in April to join the Golden Key International Honor Society and the Phi Theta Kappa National Honor Society. This honor requires that students maintain status in the top 10 to 15% of all classes.

Additionally, Angela has achieved dean's list recognition at Strayer University every term since the fall of 2020 and is in the final year of completing a Bachelor of Science in criminal justice.

While achieving multiple honors, Angela is also a homeschool teacher to her autistic son, as well as a Pennsylvania Notary Public, a licensed real estate salesperson, and an organic grower. She has recently received her LLC business classification.
