Eric Schubert, a 2023 history graduate of Elizabethtown College and current history master's candidate at Millersville University, was appointed by White House Historical Association (WHHA) as a Next-Gen Leader (NGL).

This year's cohort brings together young professionals from a wide variety of fields who share a passion for history, civics, education, and more. NGL members serve as ambassadors for the WHHA's nonpartisan, nonprofit, and historic mission and to amplify its work through their social media channels. The WHHA is a private organization founded in 1961 by first lady Jacqueline Kennedy with a mission to protect, preserve, and provide public access to the rich history of America's executive mansion.
