Three local residents received degrees from the University of Vermont during the university's 222nd commencement ceremony.

The local graduates are Katherine Sinz of Hershey, who received a bachelor's degree in health sciences; Kieran Hogan of Hummelstown, bachelor's degree in political science and environmental studies; and Ashley Reeves of Hummelstown, bachelor's degree in public communication.
