LOHF To Offer Scholarships

Lancaster Osteopathic Health Foundation (LOHF) has opened applications for scholarships to Lancaster County nursing students who are beginning their nursing education, advancing their nursing careers, or seeking specialized certificates, such as a School Nurse Certificate, and who are passionate about youth and children's behavioral health. Since 2003, LOHF has awarded more than 200 scholarships, investing more than $800,000 in the education of local nurses.

The scholarships are open to practical or registered nursing students who are residents of Lancaster County and attend one of the following schools in Lancaster County: HACC, Central Pennsylvania's Community College - Lancaster Campus; Lancaster County Career and Technology Center; and Pennsylvania College of Health Sciences. Scholarships are also open to licensed nurses who are residents of Lancaster County and attend any registered nurse (RN) to Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), BSN, master's degree, post-master's, or doctoral program, or certification classes, including school nurse, lactation consultant, and others requiring education.

Scholarships are for tuition costs only. Students eligible for 100% tuition reimbursement from employers are not eligible for this scholarship. For complete details, including scholarship program requirements and a link to the application, visit http://lohf.org/scholarships. Applications are due by 11:59 p.m. on Saturday, May 15.
