Lola Love Letter celebrates grand opening

Lola Love Letter, a mural painting and graphic design business founded by local artist and Elizabethtown College instructor Cecile Madonna, held a grand opening of its new creative studio on May 31. Located at 153 E. High St., Suite 102, Elizabethtown, the studio aims to become a center for creativity and community engagement.

After four years in business, Lola Love Letter is now expanding offerings to include a range of classes led by Madonna. The summer class list features opportunities for participants to explore brush lettering, cursive writing and mural painting. The cursive writing classes aim to enhance penmanship skills, and mural painting students will create a real-life mural in the studio.

Lola Love Letter will also continue DIY workshops where participants can create personalized doormats or chalkboards. Plans are in place to add graphic design classes and hands-on workshops like paper making.

Community members can find Lola Love Letter's work adorning walls, sidewalks and merchandise, including projects for Veterans Outreach of Pennsylvania, Playful Pups, Main Street Hanover and The Wellness Grove. Madonna's work has also been featured on Broadway and as far as East Suffolk, Va. The new studio marks a milestone for Lola Love Letter.
