Lower Dauphin seeks public input

Lower Dauphin School District has contracted with RLPS Architects of Lancaster to conduct a district-wide facility assessment.

The RLPS team has been meeting with administrators and school board members monthly since February. In addition, the team toured the district's eight academic buildings and 12 support facilities to evaluate the condition of the properties, their existing use, and traffic flow. The RLPS representatives also examined the district's enrollment, growth, and building capacities.

The next step in the process is obtaining information from district stakeholders - students, parents, school staff members, and community members. To do this, RLPS has developed a short survey, which can be accessed by visiting http://www.ldsd.org and looking under "Headlines" on the right side of the page.

The purpose of the survey is to provide all community members with an opportunity to engage with and provide input early in the facility assessment process. The community will continue to be engaged in various ways as the district-wide facility assessment is developed.

The survey will close on Friday, June 21.
