The Malta Band of Lancaster will present an outdoor concert on Sunday, Aug. 27, at the Lampeter-Strasburg YMCA, 800 Village Road, Lampeter, at 6:30 p.m. The event is free and open to the public. In the case of inclement weather, the concert will be held indoors at the Lampeter United Methodist Church, 1101 Village Road, Lancaster, at 6:30 p.m.

This year marks the 111th year the Malta Band has been performing for a public audience in the Lancaster area. The band's repertoire includes "Somewhere" from "West Side Story," "Harlem Nocturne," "Midway March" and "Big Band Signatures."
