Manheim Lions Plan Egg Hunt

The Manheim Lions Club and Kreider Farms will hold the Manheim annual Easter egg hunt on Saturday, April 4, at 1 p.m. at the Manheim Central High School football stadium, 350 Memorial Drive, Manheim. Children ages 1 to 12 are invited to participate.

A special Easter egg hunt for visually impaired children will take place at 10 a.m. Special beeping eggs will be used to assist the children in locating the eggs by sound. Preregistration for this hunt is encouraged at http://www.manheimlions.org.

There will be a staggered start for each age group. Adults can enter giveaway basket drawings, and some of the eggs will have winning tickets for prizes for the children. Some eggs will contain a gold coin to recognize the more than 100 years of the Manheim Lions Club serving the community. In addition, the Easter Bunny, Rosie the Cow from Kreider Farms, and the Manheim Lions Club Lion mascot will be on-site to greet attendees.

All eggs will be filled with Hershey's chocolate thanks to Hope Served, and all participants will receive chocolate milk after the event thanks to Kreider Farms.
