Manheim Township to host community egg hunt

The Manheim Township Recreation and Park Planning Department will host its third annual community egg hunt on Saturday, April 1. The event will be open to the public between 1 and 3 p.m. on the turf fields of the Manheim Township Athletic Complex, 2883 Weaver Road, Lancaster. The event is family-friendly and free for all to attend.

The egg hunt will officially begin at 1:30 p.m. Hunt times will be by age group. Children age 2 and under and ages 3 and 4 will hunt for eggs first in two separate areas, followed by children ages 5 and 6 and 7 and 8.

In addition to photo opportunities with the holiday bunny, there will be crafts, egg-themed games, free popcorn, a DJ, two bubble machines releasing bubbles during the hunt and two face painters.

Participants are encouraged to bring their own baskets.
