Penn State Extension will offer Mapping with Drones, a segment of the Ecosystem Research webinar series, on Friday, May 12. The live event will be presented from noon to 1 p.m. via Zoom by Jhony Benavides Bolanos, a fourth-year Ph.D. candidate at Penn State.

During this webinar, participants will be introduced to using drones to create maps for agriculture and natural resources. Bolanos will also discuss some alternative uses of drones, like the potential to measure soil moisture and develop topographical maps.
