Master Gardeners Set Plant Sale

Penn State Extension will hold the Chester County Master Gardener Plant Sale on Saturday, May 2, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., and on Sunday, May 3, from 9 a.m. to noon. The sale will take place at the East Bradford Township Building, 676 Copeland School Road, West Chester.

The annual event will feature a wide selection of plants grown and selected by Chester County Master Gardeners. Options will include native plants, pollinator plants, perennials, annuals, herbs, vegetables, shrubs, deer-resistant plants, and houseplants - all suited to local growing conditions. Chester County Master Gardeners will be on hand to answer questions and offer advice on plant selection and gardening techniques. In addition, free seeds will be available while supplies last, and children may participate in hands-on gardening activities.

Proceeds will support Master Gardener educational programs and community outreach efforts throughout Chester County. For more information, contact the Penn State Extension Chester County office at ChesterExt@psu.edu or 610-696-3500.
