Master Watershed Stewards to host webinar

The Penn State Extension Master Watershed Steward Program will host its fourth annual native tree and shrub sale this August. Prior to the sale, the program will host a free webinar on Wednesday, July 26, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. to help Pennsylvania residents learn more about the tree sale fundraiser and the species included this year.

During the webinar, Penn State Master Watershed Stewards and Penn State Master Gardeners will review the plants that will be available in the sale, discuss selecting plants for specific properties and conditions, and provide order and pickup information for the sale. In advance of the webinar, registrants will have an opportunity to submit questions about choosing the right tree or shrub for their property. Planting native trees and shrubs can help to turn a landscape into a wildlife wonderland while improving local stream health and water quality.
