McBride Receives Tennis Honors

Jacquelyn McBride of Leola, a Lebanon Valley College (LVC) student, has received several honors as a member of LVC's women's tennis team.

She was named the tennis team's Most Valuable Player, receiving the recognition during LVC's 72nd annual All-Sports Award Presentation.

She was also named to the Winter and Spring Academic All-Middle Atlantic Conference Team. The Winter and Spring Academic All-MAC Teams recognize the top student-athletes both in the classroom and in athletic competition during the 2021 spring semester. The MAC sports information directors nominate and vote on the Academic All-MAC Teams, giving 50% weight to both academic success and athletic success.

McBride, a graduate of Conestoga Valley High School, is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in chemistry and English. She earned a first-team selection in her collegiate debut after playing primarily at No. 2 singles and No. 1 doubles as well as some No. 1 singles toward the season's end. McBride ended the year with the highest number of combined wins on the team, 19, with 10 singles and nine doubles victories.
