McCollum Voted To District All-Star Team

Comet senior Cassidy McCollum was recently recognized as a PIAA District 3 Third-Team All-Star.

"She was one of 30 players recognized from the 36 AAAA District 3 girls' volleyball teams made up of the L-L (Lancaster-Lebanon) League, Reading-Berks League, York-Adams League, and the Mid-Penn League," noted head coach Tim Joyce. "She is one of only a few, maybe three, Penn Manor girls' volleyball players to have earned this honor in the last decade. It was a nice way to cap her great high school career."

McCollum, a two-time team MVP award winner, finished with 157 varsity sets played over three seasons. She recorded 386 career kills, 97 career aces, and 404 career digs, and she was a three-time L-L League Section One All-Star. She was also a L-L League Academic Award winner in addition to her district third-team recognition.
