McNees welcomes three newly barred associates

McNees Wallace & Nurick has announced the addition of three new associates who have successfully passed the Pennsylvania bar exam: Madeleine Baione, Tre Blomeier and Erika Firestone.

Baione is based in Lancaster and practices in the firm's labor and employment group. She previously served as a law clerk at McNees, supporting the firm's workers compensation team. Prior to law school, she worked as a claim manager for September 11th Victim Compensation Fund claims and a legal intern for Cumberland County Judge Edward E. Guido. Baione's experience includes working at a Lancaster-based law firm and Johns Hopkins Health System Corporation.

She earned her law degree from Penn State Dickinson School of Law, where she also served as a research assistant, teaching assistant and legal intern. Baione also holds a Master of Business Administration from Penn State Harrisburg and a bachelor's degree from Dickinson College.

Blomeier joined the corporate and tax team in McNees' Harrisburg office. Prior to joining McNees, he worked as a research assistant, summer associate, legislative intern and business development analyst intern.

His experience includes work in financial regulation; environmental, social and governance (ESG) policies; voluntary carbon markets; litigation support; and legislative research. Blomeier earned his law degree from George Mason University Antonin Scalia Law School with a concentration in antitrust law and a bachelor's degree from the Fox School of Business at Temple University.

Firestone practices in McNees' real estate team from the firm's Harrisburg office. Having served as a law clerk, Firestone rejoined McNees after graduating from law school. She previously worked as a judicial extern, legal intern, legislative assistant and Senior Designated School Official.

Firestone's experience includes work with the U.S. District Court, Pennsylvania State Ethics Commission, Harrisburg University and the Office of Pennsylvania state Rep. Carl W. Metzgar. She earned her law degree from Widener University Commonwealth Law School, a master's degree from the University of Glasgow in Scotland and a bachelor's degree from Temple University.
