Madrid, a 5-month-old who weighs about 30 pounds, is currently available for adoption from Lucky Dawg Animal Rescue (LDAR).

At about 7 weeks old, Madrid was tossed out of a car and was rescued by a passer-by. Madrid suffered a severely fractured leg. He has had surgery on his leg and was casted for several weeks.

He arrived at LDAR several weeks ago and was recently taken to a veterinarian who reported that his leg is healing nicely but he may always walk or run with a limp. However, it doesn't stop him from being a friendly and happy puppy. He loves people and other dogs.
