The 18th annual Cpl. Brandon Hardy Memorial Ride will be held on Saturday, July 15. The motorcycle ride will start at Gap Community Center, 835 Houston Run Drive, Gap. Registration will begin at 7:30 a.m.; doughnuts will be provided. The ride will depart promptly at 9 a.m.

The ride will travel through portions of Lancaster and Chester counties, stopping at Herr Foods and returning to Gap Community Center for a barbecue chicken lunch. There will be a fee per person payable at registration.

Several of the men and women Brandon served with in both the Air Force and the Marine Corps will attend the event.

Proceeds of the ride will benefit the Cpl. Brandon M. Hardy Memorial Scholarship Fund. Brandon was a resident of Cochranville and was killed in action in Al Anbar, Iraq, on April 28, 2006.
