Mennonite Life will host Robert Wyble, author of the memoir "Life Together," and Henry Youndt, author of the fiction book "Ezra's War," on Thursday, May 19, at 7 p.m. The event will be held at the Mennonite Life Collections Building, 2215 Millstream Road, Lancaster.

The authors will discuss their books, both portraying the influences of Alternative Service. Alternative Service is a government program that allows civilian work for conscientious objectors who oppose participation in war due to their religious beliefs.
