Mennonite Life To Hold Storytelling Night

Mennonite Life will host its popular annual Storytelling Night on Monday, Aug. 8, at 7 p.m. at Landisville Mennonite Church, 3320 Bowman Road. Phyllis Pellman Good, book editor and writer, and Merv Stoltzfus, executive conference minister for Atlantic Coast Conference of Mennonite Church USA, will be the featured storytellers. Each storyteller will relate personal anecdotes from varied life experiences, told in a series of short-format stories.

The in-person event will also stream online. To connect virtually the night of the event, visit https://bit.ly/MLifeFB. Mennonite Life welcomes donations to support its storytelling and conservation efforts.

Stoltzfus has served the Mennonite church in a variety of roles. One of his ministry priorities is developing the gifts of all people, pastors and lay leaders alike. He lives in Smoketown.

Mennonite Life's vision is diverse communities connecting across boundaries by knowing and valuing their own and each other's stories of life, faith, cultures, and histories. Its mission is to hold, honor, and share items and stories featuring the lived experiences and faith values of Lancaster's Mennonites and interrelated communities.
