Miss Pennsylvania Visits Downingtown Students

In celebration of World Kindness Day, Miss Pennsylvania Alysa Bainbridge visited Downingtown Area School District on Nov. 14. She spoke with elementary school students about the importance of being kind to oneself and others.

At Springton Manor Elementary School, Bainbridge visited all classrooms to meet the students and to share how being kind got her to where she is today. At Beaver Creek Elementary School, she met with fourth- and fifth-graders on the school's Kindness Squad and read stories about kindness to younger students. She also conducted brief question-and-answer sessions with students at both schools.
