Members of the Daniel Boone Homestead Associates (DBHA) will present their monthly sewing circles on the first Saturday of every month for the second year. Each month will feature a different topic. The group will meet at the visitor center at 10 a.m. Attendees are invited to bring along a project of their choice, including knitting, cross-stitching, and quilting.

The following topics will be addressed: Aug. 3, Reading a Pattern; Sept. 7, Plastic Canvas (making coasters); Oct. 5, Flax to Linen; Nov. 2, All About Wool and Felting; and Dec. 7, Moravian Stars and Paper Stars.

There is no fee to participate in the sewing circle or to tour the visitor center. Guided Boone House tours will incur admission fees. There will be separate prices for adults, seniors age 65 and over and youths ages 6 to 17. Children age 5 and under and DBHA members will be admitted for free.
