Donegal High School has announced that Aspen Jones and Nikita Galkin were the Mount Joy Rotary Students of the Month for December. Students of the Month are honored during the Rotary Club's monthly luncheon meeting.

Aspen, daughter of Tom and Rochelle Jones of Marietta, is co-captain of the girls' tennis team, and she is on the track and field team. She is a member of prayer group, Donegal Performing Arts, National Honor Society, and Link Crew, and she has served as a teacher intern. Aspen attends youth group at Community Bible Church, where she serves in the nursery, and she has traveled to Philadelphia and Saint Croix on mission trips. She plans to attend HACC, Central Pennsylvania's Community College to become a registered nurse.

Nikita, son of Elena Trout of Mount Joy and Justin Trout of Mount Joy, is a member of the National Honor Society, the quiz bowl team, debate club, Mini-THON, and the track and field team. He is also the Spirit Warrior. He plans to attend college to obtain a business degree with the goal of starting or managing his own business.
