The Donegal High School Counseling Office & Career Resource Center has announced that Tirza Martin and Andrew Steinkamp are the Mount Joy Rotary Students of the Month for January. They were to be honored by members of the Mount Joy Rotary during the group's monthly luncheon meeting.

Tirza is the daughter of Jason and Amber Martin of Mount Joy. She is vice president of the National Honor Society, president of the Spanish Club and a leader with the prayer group that meets every Wednesday before school. She plays on the tennis team and is a member of the Key Club and the Donegal Performing Arts. She is also a peer tutor. Outside of school, Tirza attends youth group and is on her church's worship team. Her plans after graduation include taking a gap year to teach English in Honduras.

Andrew Steinkamp is the son of Matthew and Stacy Steinkamp of Mount Joy. He is president of the senior class; a member of the National Honor Society, chess club, and ski club; and a Link Crew leader. He is a part of the golf team and is the mascot and section leader for the student section. After graduation, Andrew plans to attend college to study architecture.
