Mount Joy Rotary honors Students of the Month

The Donegal High School Counseling Office and Career Resource Center has announced that Mallory Berkheimer and Aidyn Zell are the Mount Joy Rotary Students of the Month for April. Students of the Month are honored during the Rotary Club's monthly luncheon meeting.

Mallory is the daughter of Scott Berkheimer and Gretchen Berkheimer, both of Marietta. She has served as president of the Math Honor Society, treasurer of the National Art Honor Society, and captain of the basketball team. She is also a member of the National Honor Society, Student Athletic Leadership Club, art club, and prayer group. Outside of school, Mallory volunteers at Community Bible Church, and she will provide child care once a week so parents may participate in events at the church. She has helped with the Fourtth of July fireworks celebration and Junior Camp. Mallory will attend Elizabethtown College to study early childhood education.

Aidyn is the son of Michael and Ashley Zell of Mount Joy. His activities include the marching band, jazz band, Tri-M Music Honor Society, and National Honor Society. He has participated in Honors Band and County Band, and he played in the pit orchestra for Donegal High School musicals. He was also a member of the Science Olympiad team. He takes trumpet lessons, attends his church youth group, and played in a band called Next-Gen Orchestra. Aidyn is considering various career paths, including video game design and development or architecture.
