Mount Joy Rotary honors Watson, Cramer

The Donegal High School Counseling Office & Career Resource Center has announced the Mount Joy Rotary Students of the Month for December. The honorees are Sophia Watson and Landis Cramer. The Students of the Month are recognized by members of the Mount Joy Rotary during their monthly luncheon meeting.

Sophia, daughter of Brian and Gayle Watson of Marietta, is vice president of the Key Club and secretary for the Class of 2024. She is in the color guard with the marching band, which recently won the Cavalcade of Bands Association Independence A Championship. Sophia is a peer tutor and a member of the orchestra, National Honor Society, Math Honor Society, Tri-M Honor Society and Donegal Performing Arts. Outside of school, Sophia attends youth group at her church and studies ballet and dance. She is an assistant director of Camp Ladybug and a dance teacher for GEARS. She is also a member of the NextGen Overture Orchestra. Her plans after graduation include attending college to major in elementary education and linguistics.

Landis, son of Keith and Erin Cramer of Mount Joy, is a member of Donegal Performing Arts, LE Studios, Donegal Debate Club and game club. Outside of school, Landis competes in the FIRST Robotics competition and participates weekly with tabletop game groups. After graduation, Landis plans to attend college with a focus on the arts and production of the arts.
