Mount Joy Rotary lauds students

Donegal High School has announced that Mia Seidel and Connor Erving are the Mount Joy Rotary Students of the Month for September. Students of the Month are honored by members of the Mount Joy Rotary during the group's monthly luncheon meeting.

Mia is the daughter of Hans and Trisha Seidel of Mount Joy. She is president of the National Honor Society, co-president of the National Art Honor Society, and secretary of the Math Honor Society. She is also a member of the sound tech and scenic dressing crews with Donegal Performing Arts, as well as the Key Club and German club. She participates in quiz bowl and serves as a peer tutor and a Link Crew leader. After graduation, she plans to study psychology and philosophy and to travel.

Connor is the son of Charles and Christine Erving of Maytown. He is an officer for Key Club and a member of the National Honor Society, National Art Honor Society, Math Honor Society, and Future Business Leaders of America. He participates in quiz bowl and is a peer tutor. Outside of school, Connor is involved with Boy Scouting. He plans to attend college to study environmental science with the goal of pursuing a career related to wildlife or ecology.
