Emma Rose Munyan, daughter of Daniel and Leslie Munyan of Elizabethtown, received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Kansas State University on May 13. Emma is a 2014 graduate of Elizabethtown Area High School and a 2018 graduate of Delaware Valley University, where she received her bachelor's degree in animal sciences.

Emma will enter into professional practice in Hutchinson, Kansas, in June. Emma's specialty is large animal medicine, in which she served numerous internships and externships during her years in college and veterinary school.
