Mural unveiled at museum

Winters Heritage House Museum celebrated the unveiling of the completed restoration of the "Donegal to Donegal" mural, located at the Heritage House Museum's parking area behind 33 E. High St., Elizabethtown. The unveiling was held with a ribbon-cutting ceremony performed by the Elizabethtown Area Chamber of Commerce on Sept. 16. In attendance were Chamber representatives, community members and customers.

A reception was also held on Sept. 21 at the H.U. Coble House, where guests enjoyed live music and light refreshments while viewing the mural to discover the journey of the town's earliest settlers. Attendees were also able to get a sneak peek at the educational resources Winters Heritage House is developing, sponsored in part by the Library of Congress Teaching Primary Sources Eastern Region Program, coordinated by Waynesburg University.
