The Lancaster County Beekeepers Society will host its 2023 New Beekeeper Workshop on Saturday, Jan. 21, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at The Gathering Place, 6 Pine St., Mount Joy. The one-day event will give attendees information on how to start the hobby of beekeeping.

There is a cost per person, with a discount for each additional household member. The cost includes all learning materials, lunch, and a one-year family membership in the society.
