OMPH School holds donation drive

Our Mother of Perpetual Help School (OMPH School) recently conducted a donation drive during Catholic Schools Week.

The drive included a collection of items for veterans. First-grade teacher Kim Hoffmann had met with members of the Lebanon Veterans Affairs Hospital and requested a list of items most needed by local veterans. OMPH School families donated hygiene items from the list, and Hoffmann coordinated a time to bring the items to the hospital.

In addition, the school collected items to assemble birthday kits for the OMPH Parish Food Bank. Each kit offered a disposable cake tin, a box of cake mix, a container of icing, a can of soda, and a pack of candles. The kits will be given to families that would normally not be able to provide these treats to celebrate a special day.
