St. John's United Methodist Church, 3001 Lincoln Highway East, Paradise, will hold a Christmas concert featuring One Step Closer on Saturday, Dec. 11. St. John's invites the public to enjoy community fellowship and homemade cookies at 6:30 p.m. Music will begin at 7 p.m.

One Step Closer is a local Christian contemporary group with Kathy Holcomb and Pat Strubel on vocals and Brian Gregg on vocals, guitar, and harmonica.

The concert is free, but attendees are asked to bring single-serving nonperishable food items such as pop-top soups and cans of ravioli, applesauce, cereal, instant oatmeal, and more. These items will be donated to the Conestoga Valley Christian Community Services (CVCCS) Weekend Blessings Program, which provides weekend meals to students in need in Conestoga Valley School District.
