Open House Planned At Art Studio

Friendship Heart Gallery & Studio opened the E. Oregon Studio on July 11 at 1159 E. Oregon Road, Lititz, adjacent to Friendship Community's main office. This second studio space will allow more Heart Artists to utilize their artistic skills and creativity on a day-to-day basis.

Artists, families, and community members will have two opportunities to tour the new space on Tuesday, June 28. Light refreshments will be available. An open house will take place from 9 to 11 a.m., and a ribbon-cutting ceremony, hosted by the Northern Lancaster Chamber of Commerce, will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. Reservations are required for both events by visiting http://www.FriendshipCommunity.net/openhouse.

The E. Oregon Studio will include a private medication room, a studio supply room, and a new space for matting and framing. The plan is to open with six program participants per day and gradually build to the studio's full capacity of 18 Heart Artists.
