The Lancaster Chapter of the American Guild of Organists (AGO) will hold the first event of its 2022-23 season. The organists will provide the music for a hymn sing hosted by the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, 750 Greenfield Road, Lancaster, on Sunday, Sept. 25, at 7 p.m.

Some of the hymns will be selected by the organists and will include special introductions, reharmonizations, and arrangements, and some hymns will be selected by the audience. Participating local organists will include Kyle Postlethwait, Karl Moyer, Joy Ide, Christopher Prestia, John Zielinski, and Jonathan Humbert. The organ to be played is a relatively new Dobson instrument with a unique facade.
