The New Holland Lions Club and the New Holland Independent Order of Odd Fellows held a food drive at Yoder's Country Market on Sept. 9. The organizations collected 1,321 pounds of food, along with cash donations, for the CrossNet Ministries food pantry.

The Lions Club meets on the second Tuesday of each month at 6 p.m. at Yoder's Restaurant and Buffet, 14 S. Tower Road, New Holland. Community members are invited to attend a meeting and learn more about what the club does for the community. The club will staff its ham stand at the New Holland Fair on Wednesday to Saturday, Oct. 4 to 7.
