An outdoor book sale to benefit Bridge of Hope will be held at First Reformed Church, 40 E. Orange St., Lancaster, from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 11. Many paperback and hardback books will be available.

Bridge of Hope provides temporary rental assistance on a decreasing basis to largely single-parent families to keep them in their homes. Budgeting help may be given. Emotional support and other assistance from various church teams is provided while independence is being achieved.
