The Manheim Township Recreation Department will host its second annual Outdoor Family Movie Night at the Manheim Township Athletic Complex, 2800 Weaver Road, Lancaster, on Friday, Sept. 24, at 8 p.m. The showing was originally scheduled for Aug. 27, but it was postponed due to rain.

Disney's family-friendly "Descendants" will be projected onto the big outdoor screen and underneath the stars. Attendees will receive a free bag of popcorn and glow stick, and they are encouraged to bring a lawn chair or picnic blanket, snacks, and a flashlight. Candy and soda will be available for purchase with cash only. Guests will be allowed to enter the facility starting at 7:30 p.m.

The event is free and open to the public, but the Manheim Township Recreation Department asks that those who are interested in attending register at https://bit.ly/MovieNight-08-27.
