Pathways marks end of school year

Twenty-nine students from Pathways Community High School and five adult leaders celebrated the end of the school year by kayaking and canoeing on the Conestoga River on May 20.

The adventure began at Sylvan B. Fisher Park in Talmage and ended at Perelman Park near Landis Valley Road. It included a stop to try out the rope swing, a stop at the Quarry Road dam for lunch, and passing under the Pinetown and Hunsecker's Mill covered bridges.

The participating students were Abby Addison, Kirsten Bly, Ahna Brubaker, Gabby Burton, Nate Crocker, Barbara Culbert, Ellie Culbert, Clayton Eberly, Sadie Fisher, Gavin Forney, Josh Hagen, Cole Harting, Kaiden Harting, Luke Harting, Riley Hoffman, T.J. Horning, Zoe Horst, Logan Matz, Caleb Myers, Cameron Nolt, Kyle Nolt, Henry Rohrbaugh, Josie Rudolph, Havilah Spinetti, Reilly Stark, Brooke Zimmerman, Morgan Zimmerman, Braden Zook, and Marcus Zook.

The adult leaders were Bob Wenger, Rachel Graves, Wanda Swarr, Mary Jane Sendecki, and Larry Everhart.
