Penn State Berks announces new scholarship

As part of PENN Entertainment's ongoing commitment to supporting veterans and active-duty members of the military, the company has created the PENN Entertainment Military Scholarship at Penn State Berks, Reading. The scholarship will be endowed through a multi-year $50,000 commitment and will further support the local Berks County community where PENN's corporate headquarters is located.

Penn State Berks is committed to helping student veterans and active-duty military students achieve their educational goals while providing a supportive environment. The scholarship can be awarded to veterans, active-duty personnel, reservists, or National Guard members with demonstrated financial need.

Each scholarship will be awarded for one academic year and may be renewed providing the recipient continues to meet the conditions of eligibility and funds are available. To learn more, contact Lisa Baldi at 610-396-6054 or lrw6@psu.edu.
