Penn State Extension sets culinary workshop

Penn State Extension will host a workshop titled "Let's Cook Charcuterie Boards" from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 3, at the CrossWinds Winery at Hershey, 621 Hershey Road, Hummelstown.

Charcuterie boards can make for a fun family meal or a creative appetizer. During the hands-on workshop, educators from Penn State Extension's Food, Families and Health Unit will prepare a charcuterie board, inviting participants to discover a new recipe. Topics will include the basic components of a charcuterie board and tips and recipe ideas to create a healthy charcuterie board for entertaining. Participants will get to eat their creations.
