Piercing Word Inc. will present "The One Story" at locations across Lancaster County and beyond this spring. The production will be featured in the 2022 Piercing Word Presents series on Friday, Feb. 18, at 7 p.m. and Sunday, Feb. 20, at 3 and 6 p.m. at Lancaster Alliance Church, 210 Pitney Road, Lancaster.

Based in Lancaster, Piercing Word is a nonprofit, 501(c)(3) Christian ministry that performs Scripture in dramatic and musical presentations, word-for-word from the ESV Bible, with the tagline of "The Scripture is our script." In "The One Story," the six-person cast tells the entire story of the Bible and is accompanied by original orchestrations that underscore key themes throughout the production. The roles include Jesus as the primary narrator, noted artistic director Caleb Hughes.

Piercing Word has been performing Scripture across the country since 2007. The mission of Piercing Word is to "ignite passion for the Word of God in the heart of the church." The group also offers Bible memorization workshops and discipleship resources.
