Pigs In The Park Slated

Parents with young children are invited to visit Huffnagle Park, 20 Oak Lane, Quarryville, on Saturday, Aug. 6, for an opportunity to teach their kids a lesson about the importance of saving money. The event is part of the Ephrata National Bank (ENB) Pigs in the Park program, designed to turn children into lifelong savers. The event, which involves a piggy bank hunt, will run from 9 a.m. to noon.

ENB will hide piggy banks within the park for the kids to find. Children and their families are welcome to search for the piggy banks during the allotted time or while supplies last. Any child ages 2 to 12 who finds a piggy bank can take it to an ENB branch and have a monetary prize deposited into an ENB Super Saver savings account in his or her name. Kids can keep the banks and continue saving for something special, making regular deposits into their own savings accounts.

Pigs in the Park events will continue at community parks in Lancaster and Lebanon counties throughout the summer. To learn more, visit http://www.epnb.com/pigsinthepark/.
