Planetarium programs set

The York County Astronomical Society (YCAS) will offer planetarium programs on Saturday, Sept. 7. The planetarium is located in the York Learning Center, 301 E. Sixth Ave., York.

YCAS will hold the children's programs "One World, One Sky: Big Bird's Adventure" at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. and "Rusty Rocket's Last Blast" at 3:20 p.m. In addition, "Max Goes to the Moon," for 5- to 7-year-olds, will begin at 10:30 a.m. Adults are invited to attend "Forward! To the Moon" at 7 p.m. and "The Sun, Our Living Star" at 8:20 p.m. StarWatch programs will be held at 2:40 and 7:40 p.m.

There is an admission fee, with a discount for children and seniors. Admission to any second or third show is discounted. Cash and most credit and debit cards are accepted. Private show reservations are available.
