On Friday, Sept. 16, a plaque will be presented prior to the Elizabethtown Area High School (EAHS) football game in memory of Mike Ebersole. Mike graduated from EAHS in 1974 and was known as the enthusiastic public address announcer for EAHS football games.

Money donated to the Elizabethtown Area Education Foundation in memory of Ebersole helped facilitate the process of upgrading the sound system at the stadium. The plaque honoring Ebersole will be placed on the press box.

The game is set to begin at 7 p.m. at the high school field, 600 E. High St., Elizabethtown.
