Lancaster Modern Etiquette will present "Poised and Pretty" - an etiquette series for girls in grades one to four. The workshop will be held on three consecutive Saturdays, May 7, 14 and 21, from 2 to 4 p.m. at the INSPIRE Business Center, 226 N. Arch St., Lancaster.

In the series, young ladies will learn conversation skills, social skills, dining etiquette, how to create positive first impressions and personal care.

Founded in 2020, Lancaster Modern Etiquette is dedicated to teaching the principles of proper etiquette, good manners and kindness. It aims to provide adults and children with polished social graces and the confidence to succeed in social and professional arenas.

The workshop will run for an hour and a half, and it includes refreshments and a dining etiquette manual. Tickets are currently on sale. The deadline to register is Friday, May 6.
