Pollinator Garden Opens in New Holland

Following an effort spanning five years, a new pollinator garden has officially opened in New Holland. The garden, which encompasses two acres on the north side of Groff Park Arboretum, is located on the corner of North Railroad Avenue and East Conestoga Street. The borough's community park association began fundraising in late 2019 to create the garden, and the cost was approximately $300,000.

The pollinator garden consists of plants and bushes that attract butterflies and other pollinators. Educational kiosks border the garden walkway. An area also features plaques and memorial bricks in recognition of the many contributions from the community that helped support the garden. The garden will be maintained by the borough.
