Church To Hold Pop-Up Drive

First United Methodist Church (UMC), 64 W. Chocolate Ave., Hershey, will hold a Pop-Up Community Drive on Saturday, Jan. 30, from 9 to 11 a.m. Community members are invited to donate items at the event. The drive-through drop-off site will be the First UMC upper parking lot, accessible via the alley at the rear of church.

For the Hershey Food Bank, the church will collect nonperishable food items, including tuna, canned meats, baked beans, canned peas, peanut butter, and canned pasta sauce (not in glass jars), along with laundry detergent, bars of soap, toilet paper, paper towels, and sanitizing wipes.

Community members may also donate items for homeless individuals served by Bethesda Mission. Needed items are blankets, warm socks, winter gloves, winter clothes, deodorant, and other toiletries.
